A Photoblog! A re-cap of the adventures this week.

Well, the parents flew back to Texas yesterday after a five day visit, and what a wonderful visit it was! We went to the Boston Aquarium, Quincy Market, a number of furniture stores, and had an awesome time just hangin’ out. It was the first time I’d seen them since November.
I’d thought I’d share some of our adventures photo-blog style, which I normally don’t do (seein’ how I am definitely not the greatest picture-taker), but I thought it’d be a nice break from my lengthier posts and a good segue before we move to tomorrow’s themed week. There would probably be more pictures, but of course I forgot to bring my camera with me and missed really great moments.
The penguins on “Fraggle Rock.” I couldn’t help but think of that movie The Pebble and the Penguin.
The parents in front of Quincy Market.
Awwwwwww, aren’t they sooo cute???
The Moms and the Husband arm wrestling it out during Dicecapdes.
And to top off the fabulous weekend, my wonderful husband threw together the awesomest surprise birthday party ever!! And I got to go candlepin bowling for the first time; which, if you don’t know, is like regular bowling but the pins are thinner and and the ball is only as big as a softball.
When you candlepin bowl, you bowl three times per frame. This is one birthday party-er throwing two of the balls down the lane at the same time.
Show off. :D
But one of the highlights during my parent’s trip up here didn’t even happen in Boston.
Drum roll please….
I’M AN AUNT!!
My Baby Nephew was born on March 18, weighing in at a whopping 8lbs and 14 oz, 21 inches long, all the way out in Seattle.
I mean, how precious is he???
Of course, I haven’t seen him yet, but I already feel a special connection to this tiny little person who will forever be in my life.
My sister-in-law (the most wonderful sister-in-law ever, and the mom that produced this beautiful boy) will be here for a visit in May, and I cannot wait to meet this new addition to my growing family.
All in all, this has been one memorable week.
